As you’ve no doubt heard, gatherings of up to 100 people are allowed and this means that our masses can resume! Our usual weekday mass timetable will start from Friday 29 May at 12:30. Mass times from then will be – Monday-Wednesday at 9:15am; Friday at 12:30pm (with Holy Hour and confessions before) and Saturday at 9:15am.
Sunday masses will also resume but social-distancing rules mean that everyone needs to be at least one metre apart from those not in their bubble. Please remember to sign in (preferably by scanning the digital code on the door with your phone’s camera) when you enter and also to sanitise your hands when you arrive and leave.
Finally, the obligation to attend Sunday Mass is still suspended. This means that there is still no obligation to come to Mass on Sunday. If you are frail in health, elderly, worried about Covid, or feeling unwell, then don’t come; and continue to keep the Lord’s Day holy through prayer and reflecting on the Sunday readings. The diocese will continue to provide mass online and on Shine TV at 2pm.
If anyone has any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
Blessings
